In a world-wide line up of innovators
The unique work of Drs. Lorretta Mayer and Cheryl Dyer, who co-founded the Biotech startup SenesTech, has caught the attention of the AG Innovation Symposium group who have picked them to present at the 5th annual symposium.
Dr. Mayer will present at the annual Symposium for entrepreneurs. This event provides the opportunity for a cross pollination of ideas between the major players from around the world in the fields of Agriculture and Biotech. It will be held at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center.
The conference (http://www.agshowcase.com) is September 9-11 in St Louis MO and a great opportunity for SenesTech.
This year’s applicant pool was the largest and strongest to date – SenesTech received one of only 16 presenting slots from approximately 70 very qualified applicants, reviewed by a Selection Committee comprised of industry leaders from Dow, Bayer, Monsanto, ADM, DuPont Pioneer, among others.
“This is an exciting opportunity for SenesTech and we are thrilled to be asked to present to other innovators and investors” said Dr. Mayer CEO and co-founder of SenesTech.
AG Innovation Symposium Since 2009, the Ag Innovation Showcase has engaged an international audience of the most influential Ag industry executives, investors, innovators and policy makers in an effort to unearth solutions to global issues in food safety and security.
The theme this year focuses on; precision agriculture, the use of biological solutions in agriculture, and the continued development of renewables, in addition to presentations on enhancements to traditional agriculture.
The goal is to have a positive impact on world hunger and reduce environmental impacts on the food supply using technology applied in new untried ways.
The presentations will be given by people from 19 startups from 5 countries. See the line up by following this link.
